MARCH into Graduation – Student Spotlight April 5, 2022

Ahhh, graduation. The one day we count down to, yet wish we could pause time once it arrives. Graduating from Cosmetology school is a huge accomplishment – 1500 hours of hard work, studying, and services. Being in school for 46 weeks, there are obviously friends made and relationships built. It’s always hard to see students go, but so rewarding knowing they’re about to start a successful career in the industry.

In the month of March, we had two special graduations to celebrate – Lauren T. and Chloe H. These two started their program together back in April 2021.
Below you will find their take on attending The Salon Professional Academy.

Lauren T:
🖤Why did you choose to attend The Salon Professional Academy?
I loved the atmosphere and the professional set up when I would come in for services.

🖤What is your favorite part about Cosmetology school?
Having the opportunity to get a feel of what it would be like to be on your own, while still having guidance.

🖤What is one thing you would tell someone who’s interested in Cosmetology school?
Just go for it! There are so many opportunities outside of working in a salon.

🖤What is your favorite service?
Color. I love the freedom I have to mix and apply the color specified to the clients overall goal.

Chloe H.:
🖤Why did you choose to attend The Salon Professional Academy?
I loved the environment and how classy it looked. I felt like I would be in a school that keeps up on trends & is able to grow.

🖤What is your favorite part about Cosmetology school?
Being able to educate guests and see them smile. I love being able to let me talents shine, too!

🖤What is one thing you would tell someone who’s interested in Cosmetology school?
Focus on you & why you’re in this industry. Just know you’re talented and making a difference – keep chasing your dream!

🖤What is your favorite service?
I can’t decide! I love each service in different ways. I love that I get to express my creativity & learn new things.
