Global Stylist Scholarship 

In 2017, Mandy Pulse felt a nudge and desire to teach others the skills she loved in the beauty industry. So, her and her mom packed up whatever supplies they could find and headed to Guatemala.

After her first visit, Mandy knew this is where her heart was. And with that, she founded The Global Stylist Scholarship. Their mission is to find those in developing countries who are willing and talented but are unable to afford the training to cut hair.

We were able to meet Mandy a few years ago through an organization we are a part of, High Performance Salon Academy, and fell in love with her passion for the industry and those in Guatemala and her vision. After the conference in November 2022 and hearing Mandy speak and ask for any donations of new or used supplies that her and her team could take for their upcoming February training, we knew with our connections we could help!

Our Academy has been so lucky to have the vendors that we have for supplies for our student kits. And the minute we reached out to a few of them, they were on board! Shark Fin was able to donate 30 brand new sets of shears for the students in Guatemala and FROMM was able to donate multiple HUGE boxes of supplies for them to make their kits. How amazing is that?!?!
